Aklosendi international fc started sometimes in 2012 as Agape United with the objectives to play local competitions in Nasarawa-Eggon, Lafia and environs . There was little success in agape united but was not projected beyond that local level.
4 years later the financier of Agape United Faith David Allu, came with a projected perspective for the football club to go beyond it expanded horizon extending it wings to the world.
In early 2016 Faith David Allu transformed the identity of the club to more definitive objectives, from Agape United to what we have today as Aklosendi International FC, Lafia.
Sometime around May/June, 2016, Aklosendi International kick started with full force with Faith David Allu handing over helms of affairs to hands he has tested and trusted with James Allu serving as team manager, Akolo John Peter as secretary, Ajegena Richard as media officer and Philip yohanna as the team medical and psychologist as well as Golby Esla Aya as the welfare officer. The technical crew headed by Coach Stephen Moga as the first coach with Monday Kasimu as assistant and Alex Ogbe as the goalkeepers coach.
The emergence of Aklosendi International is to give talented boys with Lafia the opportunity to showcase what they have not in only Lafia, Nasarawa state but to the world and beyond.
June 2016, the team registered and got affiliated to the Nasarawa state football association to become the only second professional football club in Lafia aside Nasarawa United .
July the team registered with the Nigeria Nationwide league one(NLO) to compete in the division three play offs . Which Aklosendi were grouped with Oyah FC of Suleja, Mafeng FC of Jos and Rafi fc of minna all zoned in Makurdi .
30th August 2016 which opened a new chapter for the club, the division three play offs commence which saw Aklosendi and Mafeng FC of Jos with opening game and that became the first game Aklosendi international played as a professional football club. In as much as the fourth minute history was made as Abdulmumini Sidibe gave Aklosendi their first goal assist from Esson Newton Ayiga which became the only goal of the match that gave Aklosendi the first victory as a professional football club.
The second game on the 31st of August was a hard forth victory against Oyah FC of Suleja, goals in each half from Abdullahi Mohammed and Abdulmumini Sidibe respectively gave Aklosendi the much needed ticket to play in the next level of the NLO. The third match was against Rafi united of Minna was just a mere formality virtue of the maximum points to top the group with a wide margin.
2017 can also be term as the most historical year of the club aklosendi international which the year kick started with a victory over AYD FC Doma in the first game of 2017 Aiteo cup with Abdullazeez Umar’s goal separating both sides . it was victory beating Mountain riders and Akwanga selected respectively to square up against Nasarawa united in what became our first final in a competition which we eventually lost by a lone goal from a Shammasu’s spot kick.
Playing in the finals of the state version of the federation cup , gave Aklosendi international the ticket to play in the National Aiteo which we were eventually knocked out by Katsina United feeder team by a goal to nil in front of their own fans in the Mohammadu Dikko Stadium , Katsina.
11th may saw us kick start the 2017 season with a victory over FC Minda in the Nigeria Nationwide league division one in the Lafia City stadium and wrapped up the season with a victory in the Aper Aku stadium, Makurdi against FC Minda to top the group which guaranteed a plays in the qualification play offs to the Nigeria national league (NNL).
2017 really became an historical year for Aklosendi international as it became the first privately owned club to play in the Nigeria Nationwide League from Nasarawa state after defeating KJ United of Kaduna in the playoffs in the confluence city stadium of Lokoja on the 19th of august, 2017.
The 2017 story continue as it saw the birth of the team B of Aklosendi international who competed in the div.2 level of the Nigeria Nationwide league one and finish second behind mighty jet feeder team.
Aklosendi International fc rounded up the year in Katsina as we finished runners up loosing to Giodano fc of kano in the Super Eight organized by the Nigeria Nationwide League one for teams that gained promotion to the Nigeria National League . despite the loss Aklosendi International Fc Lafia ended the football calendar year on a high.
